Mathematica Magistra Mundi

Mathematica Magistra Mundi, the original motto of this bijou bloguette, is Latin and literally means “Mathematics Mistress of the World”. Sometimes the blog uses Mathematica Machina Mundi instead. Either way, the three words contain 5, 3 and 2 syllables. These numbers, in reverse, are the first three primes and also part of the Fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55… And that is enough to be going on with.
